PostSubject: Feeling left out   Thu Nov 12, 2015 2:55 pm

Since Fallout 4 came out. I haven't yet got my hands on it and everyone and their mother is constantly talking about fallout 4 School, Jobs, church, Facebook, youtube, ect. Even when I come here on gun I feel like I can't comment or talk about anything here cause I don't have fallout 4. It's like everyone at your job/school got invited to a party but you and they're all talking about it.

I don't know. Just felt Like I had to say something about it. Don't know if anyone else is going through what I am.

It's alright, buddy
you're not missing out on much if you put a nice ENB on Fallout 3 TongueTril
you're not less than those who play either.

You gotta focus on what makes you happy like TV or music Wink
There are plenty subforums non-fallout related where you can post too.
You could even check out the fan-fic section for older stories and drop some feedback

I'm sure you'll get the game too, eventually Good
but until then, the site has a lot to offer Hugging

I can't vouch for how long this topic will remain open (or in this section) though
So if it goes missing, either look for the Archives or shoot me a PM Wink
Cheers cheers

@"Svide" Look at it like this: I never watched an episode of Breaking Bad until after the final season had already ended. Sure, I didn't get to experience it real-time as episodes were coming out, but it also had a few advantages. I never had to sit around impatiently waiting for the exciting next installment and I never had to worry about someone ruining the ending for me because no one was talking about it anymore. The same happens with games, sure you don't get to talk about it with folks but by the time you get around to playing it, the game will be less buggy due to official/unofficial patches, you have DLC options, and some pretty sweet mods. So don't feel too bad. I'm holding off myself for that reason...and because my wife won't let me drop $60 at the moment Sad

@Svide I don't own Fallout 4 either but you shouldn't feel left out just because you don't own it.
This is gaming community not Fallout 4 only community TongueTril
You can always discuss other things in off topic.
Fallout 3 and New Vegas aren't dead.Neither are good topics Smile

Probably the beauty is that the Fallout 3 and Fallout NV community has been around for a very long time now. People are still modding on and playing it and the community are still vibrant as ever!

When you get Fallout 4, we'll still be here and will love to share your excitement as you go through the game. Also, but not having it yet, you get skip all the bugs and patches and will have plenty of info available for your playthrough!

You can still join in on Fallout 4 discussions, just mindful of spoilers, but people will probably or should be using the spoiler thingy.

@Svide honestly I was so hyped about Fallout 4 when it was first announced, I'd always check the Bethesda site and twitter account for any detail. When it was going to be announced officially at E3 I spent the day before staying up all night just to watch the reveal once it was on youtube. Now that the games been out already for 2 days, I still haven't even considered getting it. I'm actually more excited to see the modding tool released and what wonders the community will come up with. I guess my point is, I had a similar feeling, I just changed my perspective around it and everything is a-okay Smile

@Svide

I don't have the game either and I probably won't have it till it's in the bargain bin more because I made that decision back when they pulled their paid mod thing that I would probably stop buying their games till they were cheap.

I still have fallout 3/NV oblivion and skyrim that I can spend my time on and I just ignore most things dealing with fallout 4.

Well It makes me kinda better there's atleast a few people going through what I am. It's just the struggle is real when you gotta avoid spoilers and try not to get annoyed by people who talk about it 24/7.

I'm in the same boat as you. Even if I actually had a copy of the game I still couldn't play it. My PC just can't take the load, it'd be too demanding. I too am very sad Sad
