| Hey guys I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble keeping track of dogmeat, or having issues with him following you. Went into Concord and fought that big monster and lost track of dogmeat and he didn't folow me back to sanctuary. There isn't a command out there that calls him back is there? Will have to search Concord when i get home from work. |

| Companions seem to sometimes freeze after a while i dont know what causes it but firing them and rehiring them fixes it as for finding Dogmeat console commands to the rescue - Console command:
(prid 0001d162) then (moveto player) that should work with out the parenthesizes

| Yeah... you're unfortunately gonna have to use the command. I lost Dogmeat myself when Codsworth joined up with me, then after I used the .moveto command, I found him humping a bush.... sideways. No, literally. Like.... just walking sideways up a bush like he's Spiderdog.
From now on, I'd suggest sending your companions to the Red Rocket Fill-up Station. I know so far, it's saving me the headache of having to look for all these companions all over the damn Commonwealth. x.x _________________ |

| I might do that, because I sent Dogmeat to sanctuary and was looking all over for him, using vats to find him. After I lost him I found him on the roof of the Museum of Freedom, I guess I told him to stay. Too bad there isn't something that can be modified to where if you tell them to stay during battle, they'll go back to follow after it's over. |

| In case someone else losses Dogmeat, or any companion for that matter, here is the console command to make him appear in front of you.
prid 0001d162 (this is dogmeat's ref id, if you lose someone else, you'll need their own ref id) moveto player
