Subject: Unique weapons and armors in fallout 4? Tue Oct 27, 2015 4:07 pm
Since the bethesda conference at E3 i wondered if they would put unique weapons and armors in the game. Why? Because they announced this new weapons modding system wich gives you the possibility to create your personal weapon. After that they also announced the new layered armor system. So what do you think about this? I always loved collect unique weapons and armors in fallout, i really hope they're gonna be in the 4 as well.

I would think that unique weapons would give like unqiue high quality parts ( im think of a system where you can only use the parts of weapons you have found) so yes i think there will defentily be some special one's if not we always have modders .

I agree with lukaboot's idea about unique high quality parts, but if that isn't the case they will most likely just change the model and stats of a gun to make it feel unique with its own mods like the regular weapons.

I hope they bring back the classic, craft able weapons the railway rifle, and the dart gun. Some of the unique weapons in fallout 3 and new vegas were kinda a waste of time. Uniques in Fallout 4 need to be worth the effort of getting.

Yeah, basically it will function just like Skyrim I predict. Actually, it's partially proven with the ability to rename your weapons entirely; swap the whole "embuling" system (IE: Putting life steal on a sword) with accessory pieces, and swap the "tempering" system with the modding of whole entire weapon segments a la NERF-style.
That's how it feels... which is pretty badass when you think of it. Uniques I figure will work in the same way, minus the fact you are unable to mess with the name, or modification of the gun minus possibly an accessory or two.
