To be honest, that hunting rifle could be a really badass automatic rifle. Is it even possible to make something like that?

Have you modded the Combat Rifle. It's super devastating with a scope and long barrel. I think it's even automatic and can be chambered in .308 though I don't thing the latter is automatic.
