So I'm trying to edit the scarf mesh from Waster's Scarf (included in TTW Immersive Armors and Weapons) and delete the knot/front bandana part but I've run into some problems. I import the mesh into 3ds Max (should I be using blender?) edit the mesh to my liking, then export. Then I open the exported mesh in nifskope, copy the nitristripdata and paste over the original. However when I try and open this in game, the mesh is all jagged and not at all what I want it to look like. My experience in 3d modeling lies with weapon models, not armor, so I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand.
