PostSubject: GECK Question   Wed Jul 22, 2015 8:49 am

Is there a way to change the count limit of a certain item in a container?

Example: I made a container for ammo and the max amount/count I was able to put was only about 65000.

( I know I know sounds unreasonable to have more than 65000 of anything in New Vegas, but its more of a because "I can scenario") lol!

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

I haven't ever seen anything about it. It might be a GECK/Engine limit that can't be changed. Use the console if you can and you can go over 65000. I give myself over a million rounds/caps well, like you said, because I can

try adding the item to the container again you will see 2 icons for the same item in the container then put both at the maximum item count of 65000
so you then have 2 'stacks' of that item which you can loot

There is no way around that you'll have to do what angeloma00 said. Mind that you could also set the box to respawn items by clicking the respawn bubble then you could technically have an ammo dispenser. But after you do that never store anything inside that box because after it respawns the items in it the box will wipe it's inventory

Okay cool Ill try later today when I get a chance. But is there an easier way to change the count of multiple items.

Example: Had probably around 100+ different types of ammo in a container but it took forever to change each count to 65000 for each ammo type. Is there and easier more efficient way to do this?

I don't believe there is another way other than manually editing the count but I have a suggestion

Instead of putting exactly 65000 for each item put 99999 or just hold the 9 key; it should replace the count with the highest value it can be set at which may save you a little bit of time

Added you can also copy and paste the items say you have five stacks then copy the five and paste that five to have ten. or just right click new
