PostSubject: Help - The Weapon Mod Menu    Wed 01 Jul 2015, 8:11 pm

So, I installed few weeks ago the weapon mod menu. The idea of this mod is replace the usual mod system for Fallout New Vegas. I guess "improve it" is a better description. But, anyway, when I come to press the "X" button, what should make me weapon mod menu opens, nothing happens. Does anyone have a clue on what could be the source of the problem?

Thanks in advance Smile

Have you updated NVSE recently? One of my friends had the same issue and all he had to do was update NVSE. Because for some reason his MCM wasn't showing up when he went to the menu as well, which was fixed.I mean, is MCM showing up either?

I don't know if you're having the exact problem I had, but I figured out that you had to have the weapon highlighted in your menu and equipped for pressing 'x' to do anything.

Finally, I have some free time to spend time with Fallout. I'll try to get a fix and report here as I get a result Smile

I only have weapon mods (ak rifles, tokarev pistol and few others), a reskin from the First Recon Helmet, and the weapon mod menu. So, I guess no other mods affecting that area of the game

Hey man, are you by any chance using AK-105 Assault Rifle by MAIBATSU?

Are you sure you have all the requirements installed?

New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) 2.0 beta 12 or higher
Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) for installation
- Optional -
The Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) 1.4+

You need all of these and one is probably outdated or installed incorrectly so WPM is not working properly
Install every one of these again and download lastest versions of each program and it should work
Easiest way to see if WPM is working is to press esc once ingame and go to mod configuration menu and see if u have weapon mod menu, if it's missing from the list then u didn't install it right

Actually NMM worked for me. Have you tried starting a new game? Is your script extender up to date? And do you have the previously mentioned MCM?

Even though I do not use NMM, it does work fine for WMM. What NMM doesn't do fully is prevent menu overwriting. Disable / uninstall every menu mod, install UIO - User Interface Organizer then proceed to reinstall your menu mods. I've got nine menu mods, including Darnified UI, installed and haven't had an issue one.

Like rest people say first New Vegas Script Extender manually to the main folder where NV.exe is, then MCM and WMM and everything should work now.

If u don't use updated ESP for AK 105 it will broke WMM when u try to add attachments to the gun, and to fix it only way is to restart game, but it works without problems if u are using updates.
