So I've been planning to use IMPACT for a brand new playthrough of New Vegas, but I would just like to ask. How many of you use it? Have you noticed any performance hits whatsoever? And will it work for custom weapons too?

Hello, @njmanga097. I choose not to use IMPACT because it's very small changes for my game and this small changes may cost a lot of compatibility patches for the other popular mods (WMX, PN, EVE, etc.) to use it with them. If you want real improvement to your guns/world effects i would recommend to you to try  "EXE - Effect teXtures Enhanced" (this mod also from EVE/IMPACT author). EXE makes FNV gunfight more awesome and you don't really need to worry about perfomance hit.

Hello @njmanga097 I recommend using impact in game because this mod adds a lot of immersion when using a firearm in the game. I can not imagine playing without that mod, there are three versions of this mod. There is a version intended for powerful computers, but there is also a dedicated version for the weaker computer users. You do not have to worry about patches because there is a patch that uses the NVSE script and automatically adapts to other mods. Link is below, I hope I helped

Well partner this mod don't modify much thing on my fallout

just something about a crazy firefight sparks and cnocreate and wood crips flying everywhere ....it just feels right.
