| @OakshieldDream, looks good but it's still rather squished looking. Generally, it's better for the subject of the banner to be smaller or cropped off than for it to be squished like that, unless it's a very small amount of squishing, because it makes the proportions look off. What program are you using to create your banners? If an image is too thin to be able to comfortably fit inside the area of the border, try using Context-Aware Fill and patch (or the non-Photoshop equivalent if you don't have photoshop). It can help to make things a bit more seamless looking by making empty space into space that tries to match the existing stuff (for example, what I did with the pipboy banner around the sides). | Thanks for the advice delta, use Photoshop CS6.
Actually I did not realize, in a way I like it because the blur and Gaussian fit better, I'm not accustomed to such small sizes because all my works are much larger, but you're right, thanks for the advice you'll have into account. |

Alternatively, copy my horrible idea that leads to ugly results and just take a small section of the original selection, paste it into the banner, and fill in the gaps with other bits of the original picture.
That's how I made the MGS3 and Persona 4 banners.
speaking of those banners every time they show up I inevitably notice how terribly obvious I made all the cropping and brushstrokes and they're so ugly and uaaaaghgahggh |

On a serious note, I admire you people for doing this kind of stuff. Each time I try doing something I like this I totally fail and end up metaphorically snorting up anthrax because of how difficult it is.
It looks great in my opinion, I especially like the font.
