I'm looking forward to this game. I've played the last two games alot and I hope EA doesn't screw this game up.

I can't wait for battlefront. I'm a little scared that they might take some of the gameplay elements of the old games out. I am really interested to see how they're gonna handle space combat or if it will even be in the game

Its interesting how small little leaks can lead to such big announcements. A crack in the damn eventually leads to a flood. Im glad to see the news either way I do love me some starwars!

What I meant is why bother with a good storyline like Biowere in 'Knights Of The Old Republic',lets just make a mod for Battlefield,skin everything with Star Wars characters and called it "Star Wars Battlefront" and cash-in.
Without mods supports this game will get board less in a month..

Maybe a new Star Wars Battlefront won't stand out as much nowadays with all the games like battlefield. Back when star wars battlefront was first released it was a unique game, as most games at the time only had tiny maps with tiny teams.

The way your talking about it clearly you didn't play the originals at release time or you didn't like them. I am yet to get board of Star Wars Battlefront 1 after nearly 11 years of owning it.

I guess you're right.It's a matter of preference after all.

It's already confirmed that there are some maps/modes where there is land/space battles so you can fly from land and start battling in space. I'm sure there will be some battles where those are separated and only one is happening. Either way, it'll be cool to see!

Not sure if you remember, but that is what starwars was back in the day. The original Battlefield was already out and they basically copied that game and made it star wars and just slightly different. I personally think this game will exceed my expectations and won't be like a mod for Battlefield, especially with the land to space battles.

I guess I'm a little upset by the fact that there never gonna be another KOTOR. I'm not the only one that is waiting for this game.Do we really need another 'hack and slash' game.
(I'm still playing Jedi Knight/Academy).

I lke Dice, but if EA makes them include any micro-transactions or have a bunch of dlc mappacks I will be pissed. On another note, character customization would be nice.

I think we all want another KOTOR RPG (not MMORPG).

Also for battlefront fans there was actually a pretty cool PSP version of the game called Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron (there was another one called Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron) that let you customise troops (so you could be a jetpack sniper) and play as heroes in space battles

DLC are included in every game these days, however, it is extra content that many are willing to pay for including myself.

i agree mainly because they may not have clone wars with it when its a major part of the lore and if we have to buy that when it should of came with it ill still buy iy but will be mad

Clone wars is apart of the lore, but the star wars universe is massive and the lore goes on forever. They won't always be able to fit everything in one game which is what people need to understand. Clone wars will most likely not be DLC and will most likely not be seen in this game at all. The DLC for this game will probably be something like weapons, maps, gamemodes and so on. I don't see them adding a whole prequel side in the game. This game is set in the time around the new movie coming out so clone wars wouldn't make much sense.

true its just there is a big a group of fans who like the clone wars as its been in all the games and its like saying how the fans waited for the original battlefront 3 which went i bit more deep in the clone wars and that whats a lot of the fans wanted and now they may not do what a majority of the new generation of fans wanted.

i mean i grew up with the clone wars series so i would like it as a way to remember the clone wars. while i love the clone wars i also like the civil war era i just hope for a clone wars era for the fact its been in the other 3 games i mean i would not mine if there was some reference to it like the MAAT or the LAAT gunships and headhunters or even if they could rebel one or early imperial clones. it might not seem like a good idea but they could have done somthing along the line of that like battlefront 2 did the LAAT. (just an idea)

The next star wars battlefront trailer is going to be released tomorrow. Hopefully it has some proper footage this time.

Obsidian is aggressively pursuing the rights to make a new KOTOR game, for whatever that's worth. (somewhat off-topic, but there's been several mentions of it)

I think it will because it's an actual gameplay reveal

I hope that they do it kind of how they did it in Battlefront 2, where you get to see the events of Clones War to the Rebellion from the perspective of a clone. Story wise, what they could do from there is maybe give us a couple of missions set in the new film and perhaps they could give us more missions via DLC or something.

One thing I'd personally would love for them to add in, is Hunt Mode. Some of my favorite moments from that game was fighting my friends on Endor as an Ewok and smacking them down with the wrath of a wampa.

But either way we'll hopefully get some more info tomorrow.
