Crabman169 at your service!

I'm...a mod enthusiast? Yeah I'll go with that. I enjoy cramming my Falllout experience with the hard work you modders do so please keep up the excellent work.

Big fan of Lore-friendly mods, real weapon mods and mods that contain weapons and armor from other games e.g BF4 (Credit to Master_Shifu and Dragbody)

Willing to be a tester for any mods, just want to give back to you guys. On that note, if anyone can guide me on to making my own mods that would be fantastic! Would love to mod but lack the knowledge of what programs to use.

I'm fairly sporadic but I'll try and be as active as I can
Cheers

Well.. the program most people use to mod is the GECK :/ however you can only do certain things with the GECK and its more about modding using the files and resources already in Fallout New Vegas (or you could download a modders resource mod and use that in the GECK)

Here is where you can get the GECK modding tool for Fallout 3 and New Vegas: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

However, if you want to make custom weapons, armor and so on you would likely want to use Nifscope or some other program.. though I personally am not that knowledgeable on making custom armors and weapons.. since I have only ever made a custom weapon using assets from Fallout NV as well as importing custom posters into the game but that's pretty basic... Smile

Anyway welcome to VGU!! Very Happy!! its an amazing community to be a part of.. Smile

Welcome cheers

This is the best place to come for mod enthusiasts like ourselves TongueTril
It's great you're willing to put in some effort for the betterment of future mods, that is well appreciated.

And as long as you post at least once each time you visit, your sporadic program shouldn't be a problem
The real problem is when you keep visiting, but stop posting

So see you around the forums Thumbs Up
Best regards
