Usually solo, but nowadays I usually do screenshots so I have companions around for that.

I like having companions but only the ones from enclave commander and how they are tactical but companions just get in the way like this emoji for example

Most of my Fallout 3 endgame experience boiled down to me crouching everywhere with the chinese stealth suit, so I rarely took companions with me. I never really traveled with Dogmeat, the only one I actually hired once was Charon, and he glitched out and got lost forever.

After that I went solo for a while, until I tried another run and hired Sergeant RL-3.

In Fallout NV, aside from hardcore mode, I actually like having a companion. They're more useful and thankfully they don't die forever.

I always play with companions in Fallout New Vegas but never play with any companions in Fallout 3 because I think the companions in Fallout 3 are terrible none of them really do much and they don't really have any backstory to them what so ever

well do know bethesda arent really in the character story department new vegas still had better story with characters but still meh modded companions are the ony with good background story like willor or vilja and sofia from Skyrim

I always have companions, and usually more than I should. That usually explains why I end up having multiple house mods as well: I need enough space to put them all.

I tend to play with 2 or 3. 3 makes it easy to deal with normal Fallout stuff, but some of the enemies I've added are pretty brutal regardless of that. I died 4 or 5 times yesterday!

I bring ED-E (I know he's useless but i love him) and Boone pretty much every play-through i have. Just give Boone a anti material rifle and go through the agony of Lonesome Road for ED-E's upgrades, and you've got yourself a team.

Hate it when companions keep getting discovored by enemies or keep getting in the way haha.

I take a companion with me almost every game. Though on my next playthrough I'm planning on going solo, or perhaps getting a new companion that fits the playstyle I'm going for.
