lol, !! I admit that the Lyons BOS are not exactly 100% in it for helping the wasteland and its people no one is entirely selfless.. NO ONE!!! however they are the closest faction to selflessness I have seen.. they share tech with Rivet City in exchange for shipping water caravans, they recruit local wastelanders into their ranks to expand their army.. and more importantly they don't mass murder people to get what they want.. though that may happen in the future.. for example if we see them under new leadership in Fallout 4.. :/

and then there is Sarah Lyons, whom while she doesn't exactly hate wastelanders.. she does consider them (at least in the beginning when you first meet her) not worthy to join the Brotherhoods ranks.. :/ however I feel that given all the Lone Wanderer did (assuming he/she didn't destroy the Citadel) she would have changed her mind about wastelanders..

Mission wise I would choose BOS, but for the cooler armor and weapons... I would go with the Enclave.

Enclave. Mainly because I had friends in the clan on Planetside 2/BF4. Just kidding, but the Enclave because it's prewar America, their soldiers, their ideals, their technology (Vertibirds, man). Their safe haven was an oil platform out in San Francisco bay. I just loved everything about them. The BoS were amazing in their own way, as well.

Although the Brotherhood of Steal has no qualms with using brutal tactics to retrieve technologies of the old world (the Pitt is a good example) they have not employed - or tried to employ - genocidal means against the populace. The Brotherhood has not tried to introduce a modified FEV virus into the water supply like the Enclave tried to. On the contrary, even though Lyon's chapter in DC goes against standard Brotherhood protocol, they tried to protect the water supply.

I choose BOS, they have better characters and ideals.

Neither of them are particularly good in my opinion, but if I were to choose it would be BOS.
