i walked into a store, had the exact amount of money for the game, saw it, liked the front-image and said "why not?", bought it and played ever since.

I stumbled upon the walkthrough of a very first Fallout in a local videogame magazine back in 98. Liked an enormous ammounts of weaponry and armors immediately. So i bought both Fallout and Fallout 2 and played them according to a canon.

Back in 2009 or so. Played fallout 3, at first didn't know what i was doing (not used to sandbox games) and was pretty intimidated by the wasteland.. The game grew on me though, and now the fallout series is probably my favorite video game series of all time.
