My older brothers friend was over at my house with my brother and he already knew about it. He told me and my brother about it and we thought it sounded pretty cool. We brought both FO3 and NV. I instantly fell in love with the series. It was probably one of the best gaming experiences I've had.

A friend from university introduced fallout tactics to me. I really enjoyed but somehow I forgot about the series. Then I got a ps3 and found that there is FONV and went from there. Now i've got all installments for the PC.

Fallout 3 stuck out to my brother and I at a little game shop in our small town. Ever since, we've enjoyed the world and lore that opened to us.

well you see when the game Fallout 3 was being advertised as coming soon u didnt really take notice of the game well to be honest i didnt give a damn about it cause i didnt know what it really was i thought it was some generic scifi type shooter like Gears of war Copy i remeber some guy ask if i was getting the game and i said no way i got enough games but when i was on youtube and saw fallout 3 demo i figured heh why not couldnt hurt and when i saw what its true colors were with all the free roam choices killing in a world all messed up i was like im getting this game and when it came out i got it on the 360 at this tie i knew nothing about mods nor did i give a damn about pc gaming i was a console fanboy back then.

and i would play the game for hours nonstop staying up to 4am just to play and when i went to EB games store i saw a Fallout bundle of Fallout 1 , 2 and Tactics i just had to snatch them up and play them on my dads laptop.
but then not long after my friend got a laptop and got fallout 3 on it and he introduced me to mods and i was like wow this is better then what i got and at that moment the PC Master Race was Born in me then when i got a laptop for my 17th birthday i got fallout 3 goty edition and i just moded the hell out of it and been playing it ever since to the day New Vegas came out that when it got better so i been a fan of the series for about seven years now i read the lore i played all the games yes even the crappy Brotherhood of Steel game even played the Van Buren cancelled original Fallout 3.

and theres my discovery of fallout hope use like it and these days i just wait and wait for Fallout 4.

My brother got it for ps3 like days after Fallout 3 came out and as soon as he beat it he was done with it forever and gave it to me, and I havent really put it down since.

I'd heard a lot about it, and a friend leant me FO3.
It was so weird, but at the same time amazing. I don't think I'd ever played a game like it before.
Nothing really takes you back to the feeling of playing FO for the first time.

Was wandering in the web and i was in devian art and i see Master Dragbody's characters and i discover that type of mod is to a game called fallout nv and i have downloaded the game to give a try and i liked the game

my friend lent be fallout 3 back in 09 and thats when my love for the games began.

I was wondering in a shop at some point and just happen to find a game with some intense cover art with a dude in badass armour on it, turns out, that was Fallout 3.

Cue spending months trying to find Dad though, got side tracked too much lol
And now I've bought Fallout 3 and New Vegas multiple times on both PS3 and Xbox 360 and finally PC, mods are awesome.

The year must have been 2010-2011.

I knew of the game of course, I had been into the Elder Scrolls for a long time before then, but I didn't like it on principle alone. A lot of people said key things like "Not an RPG" and "Just a Shooter" that made me decide I was never, ever going to touch the thing in my life.

My best friend hit me over the head with an encyclopedia and forced me to play through the chargen up to escape 101. I grumbled as I finally did it, just to make her stop whining at me. There was no way in hell I'd like this dumb shooter game, so what was the harm?



I went home and immediately bought the game for myself, and I still play the heck out of it. No regrets!

One day I might even move on to FNV, who knows?

My friend talked about it in school, and then one day we were at his place and he starts to play fallout 3, and i fell in love with it instantly. I remember driving to gamestop a couple of days later, and then i bought it myself. It was a year or so later my same friend, told me about Fallout New Vegas. At the time he didn't own it so i bought it. And every day after school we would meet up at my place, and we would play either Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

Haha it was a few months after Fallout 3 was released, I decided to go over to friends house and chill there for a weekend. We were playing on 360 when I looked over an saw F3 just chillin there. I look at him and go. "How's Fallout 3?" "I don't know yet, just got it yesterday." On that note we popped it into the 360 and after a few hours of roaming the wastes and the discovery of the Fat Man we like "Holy shit we're not sleeping tonight!"

My first experience with Fallout was during a huge going out of buisness sale at my local movie/game rental store. While I was walking around I see some kid hide something under a rack, so I go over and see what he was hiding and it happens to be Fo3, it was only like 30$ and I still had a little bit of money left from my last paycheck so I said "fuck it" and just bought it.

In all honesty, at first, I thought the game looked like ass (FO3). I wasn't familiar with the series, and from watching my friend play it on 360, I thought it looked boring. Then he made me actually sit down and give it a fair shot. After that, it didn't take long until I had a Fallout/Futurama themed tattoo.

Hm not too sure, but I think I remember seeing the fallout 3 cover, and thought it looked pretty cool, never heard of fallout before, so I decided why not. At first I thought it was kind of boring, but that very quickly changed, and I pretty much got addicted to it, then that lead me to finding the elder scrolls series as well.

I borrowed Fallout (the first one) from a friend in middle school, and thought the whole universe was awesome. Played Fallout 2, and was part of the generation of fans who thought Interplay killed the universe. Fallout 3 was an improvement, and FNV was everything that I was hoping for.
