What if the prototype tentacle monster (lol) was in the wasteland full of mutants and humans and other tentacle monsters?

Just use FEV and all is good. Or a Fatman. Alex would not be able to make many trouble.

Hehe *fanboy time*, Alex survived a nuclear bomb blast(enough to destroy a city in a minute) and got revived. A fatman is a piece of cake since he can't never die entirely and the virus will just revive itself even if it gets blown to pieces..

Yeah a fanboy vs hater war, great... He was not in the midle of the explosion and you forget the FEV what was created to destroy mutants and other unpure things. Or you can use plasma or laser.

Umm I wasn't being serious about having a war or anything, it was simply a joke, shows that I do like that character, I'm chill. Oh and he was in the middle of the explosion if you recall it, he used the chopper to fly away but he wasn't too far from the blast so he was still pretty close to it. Those weapons can melt him slowly, though the virus can regenerate itself. Plus there are a lot of possibilities on what might happens so who knows.

Hmm, good point.. Although...How the hell does Alex lose to James? Eh, but FEV may kill Alex as he is kinda a mutant. And no way a Fatman can kill
Mercer or any plasma weapons.

I believe it is either his plan to let James consume him or for some other reasons, throughout the fight with him, you can hear him hinting you to defeat him(i.e: when you keep using the same ability, he will be able to deflect it and tell you to 'use something else'), in Prototype, when you consume something, you also get its memories, and let's not forget Alex Mercer is just a virus, not an actual person, the real Alex is already dead (hence why it said: ""I looked for the truth, found it. Didn't like it, wish the hell I could forget it. Alex Mercer.... this city suffered for his mistakes... for what he did at Penn station and whoever he was, that's a part of me, 'cause when I close my eyes, I see the memories of a thousand dead men, screaming as I take their lives. Something less than human, but also something more."), it might be his plan to let Heller consumes him and then Heller might understand why he turned antagonist. The virus thought itself as Alex Mercer. Alex Mercer used to be a protagonist/good character in Prototype 1, if you read the Prototype comics, you'll be able to understand(or better able to) why he changed to be antagonist in Prototype 2.

Yeah I remember some of the comics and love the first prototype. If I'm correct..Alex lost his faith in humanity or something like that some time after prototype? He kinda got shot in the head from a chick? Idk but it'd be good to know what happen.
