Mod help with JIP Companions

Hey All,


I was hoping someone could help me with a little mod problem I've been having. I'm trying to get JIP Companions and Control working but when I install it seems to completely crash my game. Essentially after I run fallout through Mod Organizer using FNV 4G nothing happens - I don't think it even ctd's as my screen stays on my desktop. When I un-check the mod and run fallout the same way, everything works fine and i'll be able to get the main menu and load a save or start a new game. I've tried making sure its sorted correctly with loot, running FNV edit with all my mods loaded to check for missing masters or any other errors and checking the mod page for solutions but nothing.

If anyone has run into this issue or can offer any help that would be greatly appreciated. Smile

All it really does is add on to the UI so it could possibly be conflicting with another mod that alters the UI. I use oHud and JIP and I don't have any problems with it. I would suggest trying to make a merged patch using FNVEdit.

Thanks for the suggestion @xThat1WhiteKidx, I tried creating a merged patch using FNVEdit and leaving it at the very end of my load order but unfortunately it didn't work. Fallout will not even boot up (same as before).

I've tried re-installing and that didn't work either.

I checked oHud is overwriting 2 menus in JIP but that shouldn't be a problem I don't think because its doing the same thing for Advanced Recon Range Finder and JIP select fire.

UPDATE: Okay so I have a bit of a new development. I tried disabling all of my mods and then enabling them one by one and it seems like Interior Lighting Overhaul is causing the issues. I'm not sure why since one is an interface mod and the other is a lighting mod but the two do not seem to run together.

If anyone has any idea's on why I would really like to get these mods playing nice together Smile

UPDATE 2: Yay!!!!
Figured out the issue. Had to do with .bsa files...I guess some of them were conflicting so after figuring out how to extract them and hide the .bsa files I was able to get everything working together.
