| lets just start of with a SPOILER WARNING this includes parts of the main questline you may have not completed or started yet
Hey GUNers today i have a question i am at the point in the game of which you need to make a major decision that changes the fate of the commonwealth i need to decide between the institute or the brotherhood of steel and its really hard to decide so i decided to ask my fellow GUNers if they could help

| Well, I think that is your own decision to make. (You can always make a save just before and come back to it.)
The question I have for you is...
Do you like synths? or hate them?

| If the only faction you like is the Minutemen, for whatever reason you don't like either faction, You can - Spoiler:
bring both factions down in the end through the Minutemen, the same is also true going through the Railroad
As far as the decision, as @Chromesthesia It's up to you and depends on your beliefs and how closely they align with either faction. |

| For your first playthrough, definitely choose Institute. This not exactly morally correct but it is the most fun ending you can get out of the game, and let's be honest, all the other endings are practically the same anyway.
The question is quite subjective though. You're never really going to find a clear answer seeing how people view the factions differently. |

| The question to ask is...which faction can you live with? Live without? Or...keep a save of right now...go one direction...if you don't like it; jump in the DeLorean and activate the flux capacitor to go the other direction...it is after all a game. _________________  |

another settlement needs your help like 1000 times a week Well not to get off track, but that would be more so a problem with Preston Garvey then the Minutemen specifically. I've never heard of people hating them, mostly just hating Preston. After all, they are what you make of them, like allying with the Enclave  in the Enclave Resurgent mod I think We Are the Minutemen really improve on them as well. |

I played this game 4 times and played 3 times for the Institute. Why the Institute? Yes, they have inhumane methods, but the goal is to preserve humanity. There are clean, many intelligent people and you are the director, you can lead them to a bright or dark Future. The rest of the factions do not offer you anything other than living in mud without development. And you will live by wolf laws, destroy the weak and competitors. The rest of the factions will declare their campaign a good goal and with fanatical joy will blow up the reactor in the center of the city, condemning this city for a new radioactive contamination and a mutation of nature. Do you need this? You can not establish peaceful relations by destroying the epic scale. The institute, on the contrary, wants to launch the reactor for the benefit of the residents of the institute and the normal development of the world, albeit according to its rules, but it is better to live in the Institute in clean than to dig into radioactive crops and be afraid of attacks by raiders and mutants. Or raid Brotherhood of Steel ... because you are such a dirty mutant for them ..
