PostSubject: Dual Monitor issues with ENBs   Sun Aug 31, 2014 9:18 pm

I started using ENBs for Fallout: New Vegas, I have a dual monitor set up and when I load up the game it just won't run properly, I'm just stuck on a black screen. I managed to get around by using the Nvidia control panel to disable one of my screens but are there any ways to get around that? When I load up Skyrim with an ENB I don't have this issue.

I wonder if it's just a problem with Fallout New Vegas' engine.

I'm running Dynamo ENB with a dual display setup just fine. Just wondering if you've tried not running the ENB now, does the game run? Thinking it may not be an ENB issue at all.

I apologize for the late reply.

I can run the game perfectly with dual monitors when not using the enb, it seems to me that whenever the d3d9.dll file is present in my Fallout New Vegas folder the game won't run properly. Perhaps switching to the same ENB as yours would do the trick, what are your thoughts?

Yeah, definitely try it out. I also use the 4gb exe.
Give that a shot too, but if you do, d3d9.dll has to go in the exes folder.

Alright, thanks a lot. This is the first time I've ever troubleshot my issue with ENBs, I googled it countless times but nothing came up.

Should I also put the NVSE.exe in exes or will NVSE run by default?

It'll run by default. Make sure you purge the directory of any ENB files before trying the new one.
