i have 154 plugins i used to have over 200 then every thing went to crap and i had to uninstall allot of them

Currently only what came with the game for both games. Your issue with plugins can be both because of type of mods used as well as number. Each machine and game configuration define how many esp/esms you can run at any given time. I have ran as high as 140 or so without any issues. I haven't pushed it higher. Soon I might just do that when I set up the new games.

Various issues occur besides low FPS. Scripts stop firing correctly get dropped and such. Can't complete scripts and there isn't any reason for it. In some cases even keys stop working. E won't let you open something. Slow changing from one scene to another etc. I had problems and couldn't even run >80 mods before upgrading a few years ago. I mostly ran into the missing or corrupted scripts and saves issues. See the game tries to complete what it is told to do and has a limited time to do it. When it isn't able to do it .. things break. These break depend on what you installed and what you are doing at the time. Almost impossible to predict where the game will break due to excessive plugins. The max is the theoretical max that the engine can handle. Most never achieve that number. If you do and change the mods you might not be able to use the same # again.

139 active plugins at this moment in time for me. Really need to set aside some time to uninstall some mods not in use. Would like to have less than 100.

104 at the moment, most of which are bug fixes. Some are things i just need to get rid of but i'm to lazy. That number kinda fluctuates when new mods come out. The max I had a one point was 184

I have 30+ for now. I don't install to mush plugins. Just some interesting, some fix, and some my custom mod. And I always change it and start in over.

In short, too many, but 99 not counting the base game and the DLCs, both add-ons and the Courier's Stash.

Excluding the base game and DLCs, i have 124 however only 109 are active. My games stable and i can normally play it as much as i want without crashes, however there is that rare moment....

I have 97 active plugins. In total however, I have about 200. I don't like to get rid of the good mods just in case I get bored one day or miss a mod or even if there is an update for a mod I like ot have all the good ones, even if I am not using them at the time.

last time i cheacked fnv was 174 if it goes anywhere over 200 my game flips out causing texture issues, my skyrim however is some where between 205-190 my game is already having a mental breakdown, causing the VRAM usages to skyrocket if i get near a chicken then it CTD's (Crashes to desktop)

Usually try to keep it between 100-110. Right now i have 104 plus NMC and Ojo Bueno Texture packs but those arent really plug-ins.

i have 99 plugins and im using tale of two wastelands + NMC large for fallout 3 and fallout new vegas + armor and clothing textures and all on a laptop from 2012 i got 500 irish Euro's lol

I have 127 mods right now that's enabled out of 140 on my A6-4000M Processor with AMD Radeon Mobile 7520G. Some of them are my own works. I do not know how anyone can play New Vegas with 10 FPS, except me. It doesn't use the 8GB of RAM that I have, just about 2GB. I enabled the >2GB flag, but it still stuck on 2GB.
