My mod has some working curtains. There's 2 objects, both of which are activators: the closed curtain and the open curtain. Activating whichever one is enabled runs a simple script which toggles an XMarker which is the Enable parent for both curtains. Both of them are set to "pop-in" under the Enable Parent tab. But they only ever do fade in/out. It seems that activators do not pop-in no matter what I do. I did a little test, and static objects will pop-in if set to do so.

Is there any way around this or am I going to have to replace my activators with statics and go about this another way?

Okay. I tried my own suggestion of using the static curtains that are already in the game (NVTOPSCurtain03 and NVTOPSCurtain04 respectively) and just sticking a plain old ElectricalSwitch behind the wall, but the same thing happens! The curtains refuse to pop-in!

I tried other static objects and they seem to work fine. Is it possible that this is something to do with the curtain model that prevents it from popping in?

Load it into your game and type "coc CurtainTest" in the console. You'll also need to use "TCL" to fly into the room. After which, the switch will enable/disable the curtains.
