I like fallout because I started playing fallout 3 but ending up downloading the fist two to get a better understanding if the game, but man who doesn't love a post apocalyptic world where your somewhat free to do whatever...the feeling of the inner raider basically.

The large modding community is the main reason I have continued playing fallout. The sheer amount of content available from armor, quests, companion mods what ever, these mods allow you to gain a diversified experience with each play through. When you couple that with the vast amount of choices implemented in the game and the freedom to play the way you want it definitely enhances the life of the game IMO.

Mods. I really love looking at the mods that people make for the game, so then I go in and test it out. I also love the story and missions, and those can never get too repetitive for me. I guess I'm okay with grinding and repetition, so I don't mind doing quests all over again.

I actually really like wandering around alone in the Mojave Desert, pretty much doing things however I see fit. Even though I've played NV countless times the story and characters keep me coming back for more each time. Like exploring the Sierra Madre Casino, I used to not enjoy it, but the past couple of playthroughs I've really enjoyed it.
Also I find myself just being able to get more immersed in New Vegas than say the elder scrolls games, where I could care less about any of the characters, or the world.

Simply the mass amount of mods available for it. There are so many to try out, and so many quality ones out there that I haven't had the pleasure of using. That is why I initially joined the original VGU Network. They arguably had better mods than Nexus, but I digress.
