Suggestions For modding NV

Post by AnarcHist on Fri Jul 14, 2017 11:29 pm

Hello everybody i havent been playing FNV for months and i deleted the game im planning on starting again since i dont remember none of the mods i used to have and i know many of you know how to make the game look glorious so i would like some of you guys to give me atleast a list of mods that could make the game more fun and enjoyable for a long period of time any mod that dont break the immersion too much is good enough for me sincerly waiting for suggestions.

Dust: Survival Simulator, complete overhaul, combat, damage, locations, enemies, and it's set 20 years after new vegas. then I'd say ''For The Enclave'', any mods on this site, one of my personal favourites is called ''DLC Weapon Integration'' it adds dlc weapons to mojave wasteland npc's so you don't have to finish honest hearts for a .45 auto, dragbodys DMHO (Dead Money Horror Overhaul, makes Dead money more intense) project nevada obviously Very Happy and uhm, NPC'S travel is another usefull mod

@AnarcHist To be completely honest, if you're looking for a lore-friendly modding experience, you should download Project Nevada and just install quality of life mods (such as JIP Companion Command and Control, etc.) along with weapon and armor mods that are explicitly lore friendly. If you'd like some suggestions on any of the latter, I'd be glad to oblige.

"Mad science" it's on the nexus and it's amazing create weapons, armor. Make any dead body a lobotomite minion, fully equippable. And more

I recommend Wave Radio by Halofarm, it's my favorite radio/music mod on the Nexus. It includes a real animated radio station with great tracks of the 40's/50's, a new quest and various content. I'm no longer able to go to New Vegas without the voiced company of Blake and Billie Holiday!

If you're a fan of alternate travel, and even more so a fan of Doctor who, DEFINITELY download the fallout who vegas mod. Not only does it give it a sci-fi immersive way of traveling the wasteland, but if gives it a totally different way to play the game. Making a pacifist run possible with no lethal weapon like a sonic screwdriver - which can be used to hack, lockpick, disarm weapons, etc. Along with an energy gun with non lethal ammo option.
Also if you get severely hurt rather than die and reload the game, you can instead regenerate. which will give you the ability to heal all your wounds with the con - or pro? - being your character becomes someone completely different, different S.P.E.C.I.A.L.S. and all.
Best part of that though? The regeneration thing is totally optional, and if you get it but decide later you don't want it, you can remove it too.

Mods definitely worth a look man Smile

There's obvious ones like "project nevada", or "Dust" but personally I'd advise "item browser" it's Sooooo damn useful Smile
