| Hey guys, recently I was wandering why Beth does not make some crossovers just like EA does with Dragon Age, Mass Effect and Dead Space. Beth has Doom, Quake, Dishonored, Prey, Rage... A lot of them would fit very well in Fallout world. Even Skyrim could fit well, as I imagine everybody here already saw the TES-51 Power Armor mod released yesterday on Nexus. So, I'd like to know of you guys, is there a acceptable reason for it or is Beth just loosing oportunities of making more profit, publicity in another game universes or even just the oportunity to amaze even more the gamer comunity? Would you pay for official Beth crossovers as DLCs? PS: Sorry for the bad english, it's not my first language. If something is confusing, just ask. |

| I agree that Bethesda is sitting on a gold mine with this. Imagine if they did armor packs as a DLC for a few dollars. And technically, they have done a few small crossovers. - In Brink:
- In RAGE:
I would gladly shell out $5-10 for a Bethesda armor pack... that is, if I ever played Fallout 4. _________________ |

Wish that game was better. _________________ "I don't do much, just play fallout.." My Youtube Channel- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_T3g8SG6VXK93XxFRQNYYQ |

| Official Cross overs would be cool, I agree Bethsda is sitting on a Gold Mine and letting it go to waste. Would be pleasantly surprised if they did some old school Fallout Easter Eggs with other games similar to the Duke Nukem Doom Guy Easter egg. Like you run across a dead Doom Guy and could get his armor in a wild wasteland perk event. I know I would pay $10 for a good add on dlc pack. _________________ |

| Finding Doom guy's armor or something or even Doom guy as a follower would be sick. So would be weapons/armor's from RAGE since those really fit well with the Post-Apocalyptic feeling of Fallout.
Also that DOOM 3 shirt in RAGE wasn't the only crossover. There's a Vault Boy bobblehead in the first big city (Sheriff place or Mayor can't remember) and there's another bobblehead from a NBA basketballer and a Doom guy bobblehead _________________ |

| I would personally love to see a spin-off game or perhaps a DLC to either TES or Fallout of a dimensional crossover... with a portal created on both ends up linking the two worlds together for that duration of that game's storyline, something like a stargate kind of portal. Super Mutants vs Trolls, Deathclaws Vs Demora Fiends, BoS vs Thalmor. |

| After seeing the content that is possible just with access to assets from the modding community...I would rather see beth continue to focus on creating new content, and the community continue to figure out ways to make it accessible to then use to create content for other games.
Scenario: beth decides to take a page from EA Sims and create "stuff packs" which are just a bunch of .esps or .ba2 (is it or? or is it "and .ba2") or just a .esm of crap...the first second and 900th review would be statements of
"beth releases stuff and they really missed the boat on this one...they could have should have added ____ _____ _____ _____ i would have rated it higher if it weren't for the clipping issues or crashing due to incompatible slots...I suggest not buying this because it's up to the community to FIX the release and make it cbbe compatible...I wanna wear 8 hats and 11 pair of goggles with a mask and helmet...so many slots are taken now my jetpack won't work"
so the mass consensus would be "don't waste your money" because they released an entire workshop for 5.00
I don't know what it takes in man hours for someone who does this full time to create 1 armor...is 4 hours fair? I mean starting from the point of sketch art to usable (I see you all talk about bone mappping...that sounds like some graphic ass shit...I know it isn't but DAMN son picture someone saying that to your face that they need to bone map this body here) in game model.
What's a fair amount of armor to release to retail...4 new sets? 8? 12? 8 sets...what's a new outfit without a new weapon...because who's going to buy just 8 armors and NOTHING else oh and by armor I mean head/face/eyes/torso/shoulders/arms/GLOVES (these are so lacking right now) upper/lower leg
8 new armors 4 new weapons (multiples of 4...I'm thinking of having hot dogs right now...it's nearing meal time again)
Is that a 5 dollar deal? I reserve judgement until I see it (obviously that's an answer everyone would say) so pretty it up with some in game photos...some digital packaging...throw it up on steam and BOOM...people read a review like above and they're waiting for a discount code or sale price. and how much time was invested? 4hours x 8 outfits + 4 hours x 4 weapons...over a standard work week for one person...nah...I don't want beth to go through all of that for 5 bucks...but then again my estimations could be off.
just my 11 cents worth... _________________ |
