I mean if you look at everything I would say FO4 actually does a better job at diversifying everything just with being able to add mods which changes the look. Where as Fallout new vegas yea unique weapons looked just the same as the normal weapons in the game. And to go even further into something FO4 added to make a change is the fact of special perks to special guns, dropped from bosses and legendaries, and being able to change the names of your weapons. So honestly if you ask me I say yes there could be an improvement on Uniqueness but to compare it to New vegas it is an improvement.

As someone who has just acquired Fallout 4 after the hype died out and the screams of let-downs poured in, informing lowered expectations, I'll say this... I just didn't care.

About any of it.

The game had no soul. The writing didn't pull me in. The acting FELT scripted. There was never a feeling that anything was at stake. There was never a feeling that my actions couldn't just be rectified by reloading.

Sure the last point is true of games like New Vegas too, but New Vegas somehow made you forget about that. It made you actually want to TRY. There is something soul-less about this game. Something that makes you feel like it's about checking things off a to-do list rather than enjoying or immersing yourself in its world.

I have yet to finish it but I have to say, if it doesn't dramatically improve, I'll be sticking with this statement until loads of mods come in to rectify it.

I played it did everything I wanted then got bored. The only good thing about it is that it is a fantastic set up for modding it, however I have no plan to mod it anytime soon. For now fnv takes the cake. Even though I hated the cowboy western mail man get up hehe

Fallout 4 was enjoyable at the beginning but after the ending it somehow became very bland to me. There wasn't much to do in the open world, so I bought automatron, but I feel as if it was just a bigger than normal side quest.

Currently Fallout New Vegas is just bae for me right now!
